Gregory has been the original physical therapy director of this practice since its inception in 2002. Born and raised in Holbrook, NY, Greg is a lifelong member of this community. He is a 1994 graduate of Sachem HS where he played Varsity baseball. Greg went on to receive both his BS in health science and Master of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University. Throughout his 15 year professional career, Greg has been fortunate enough to work closely with some of the area’s top orthopedic surgeons, keeping up with the latest techniques in areas such as complicated surgeries of the shoulder, ACL reconstruction, joint replacement, and injuries of the throwing athlete. He has also taken more than 30 courses and seminars on various topics of orthopedic physical therapy. Over the years, Greg has treated athletes from all four major professional sports. Greg continues to reside locally with his wife and two young children. He is an avid fitness enthusiast, skier and mountain biker.

Louis is a doctor of physical therapy with 8 years of professional experience. As co-owner of Excel Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy, Louis actively consults with and maintains professional and personal relationships with many local and high-profile doctors and coaches regarding the status of patients’ health to ensure that progress is being made and return-to-play plans for athletes are met. From complex surgical procedures to common sports injuries, each plan of care is expertly customized for his patients. From New York City to the east end of Long Island, Louis obtained his clinical experience in a variety of settings including acute care rehabilitation, geriatric care and outpatient orthopedics. During this time he shadowed and worked closely with leading doctors from New York’s City’s Hospital for Special Surgery and NYU Medical Center.
Louis holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University in Brooklyn, N.Y., and a B.S. in Health Science with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, N.Y. He continues to take yearly courses specializing in new and evolving orthopedic surgical procedures, diverse sports injuries and has successfully completed his certification in advanced spinal/extremity manipulation (CAMT).
In addition to many rising high school and college athletes, throughout his career, Louis has treated many professional athletes including: a current Arizona Cardinals player; a former New York Met; a former New York Yankee and his son; several members of the New York Lizards; former members of the New York Jets Flight Crew, among others. From skydiving to white water rafting, Louis is an adventure seeker and passionate about health and fitness. Being a neighborhood native and Sachem High School graduate, he is proud to be serving the community in which he grew up.

Jill has been the “all knowing” face of this facility for over ten years. Not only does she greet our patients each day and answer our calls, but she handles all the “behind the scenes” activity that is crucial to operation. Jill is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of insurance eligibility, authorization and billing. If you have questions about exactly what your benefits are, Jill can set your mind at ease with a simple call. If you have concerns about what your out of pocket responsibility is, Jill can make sure you know exactly what to expect. If you need authorization for a compensation injury or for your private insurance, Jill can do that for you as well.
